This is a short series showing you my VERY LOW COST, HIGHLY EFFECTIVE system for de-watering, settling and filtering waste oil for use as a diesel supplement/alternative (subject to suitability). Two Systems are shown; one for absolute filth contaminated with food/water/cigarette ends/fat, and the other for visibly clear oil only (simpler system). All components are selected for cheapness and availability. The final filtration is done through vacuum cleaner bags (Henry’s are good)….they can be burned for fuel when clogged with solid fats (see FATLOG series). Go ahead and emancipate yourself from fuel slavery. Other guidance (you must verify as current and valid) Currently in the UK you do not require a ‘Waste Carriers Licence’ if you are collecting for your own use; you can use 2500L/yr before registeing with HMCE to pay duty (about 30p/L), but you must keep a record of what you have used.

The carbon dioxide emitted from these bio diesel fuels are carbon neutrals which has the same quality as carbon dioxide emitted from plants during photosynthesis, and does not add up to the carbon dioxide in the air. The bio diesel fuel refining method was made even eco-friendlier by utilizing BIOMAX biomax, a catalyst used in refining bio diesel fuel process emits no waste water since it does’t use water and can reduce the processing time by half compared with conventional alkaline based catalyst, using potassium hydroxide. It is safe to use and less costly. Compared with potassium hydroxide, which took 85 yen to make one liter of oil, it only takes 50 yen and what’s more, the oil produced is of better and higher quality.

In this video we are going to look at how to store gasoline. This will help you to avoid shortages as some recently have experienced in the Southeast. In a true SHTF situation, you are going to need gasoline for many things including: vehicles (if still working), chainsaws, tillers, lawnmowers (yep your still going to have to mow every so often to keep down fire hazards and to cut down on possible concealed entry corridors), generators, water pumps, log splitters, etc. Left by itself, gasoline typically has problems in a fairly short period of time. It must be properly treated and put in good quality storage containers. Do NOT trust your gas to the cheapie red plastic cans from walmart. I personally would be leery of using any plastic containers to store gas LONG TERM, but that’s just me. Sit down and think about how much gas you use in a year around your homestead or survival retreat. diginfo- movie.diginfo.tv The Remix is a waste oil refinery and fuel generating machine developed by DCA Engineering, and can mix waste oil, such as cooking oil and lubricating oil, with heavy oil, light oil, and kerosene to generate fuel for use in boilers, diesel engines, and power generating machines. Compared to the existing chemical methods, the machine physically mixes emulsifications of waste oil and petroleum, requiring no chemicals as additives. It is not based on any chemical reaction, so no side products are created. With this machine, waste cooking oil can substitute for 20% of light oil and kerosene or 30% of heavy oil. The energy costs can be reduced proportionally by the amount of waste cooking oil that is mixed. The machine can process 500 liters of waste oil per hour which reduces the processing cost to less than 0.1 yen per liter. An exemplary usage is to produce fuel from by-product oil that is generated during the process of converting food residue to feedstuff.
